This photo set of ARG (WA) 2500 Class Diesel Electric Locomotive was taken by Stew Winston at Albany (WA) between February and September 2004.
The 2500 class were originally the P Class which first saw service in late 1989 with 17 units being built by the Goninan company in Bassendean.
2505 was the first P Class to be repainted in ARG`s livery it was previously P2005. 2505 was put back in service after a refit and repaint in February 2004. The only other P Class to of been painted and reclassed up to September of 2004 is P2006 which is now 2506.
