TASRAIL BALLAST REGULATOR
This photo set of the Tasrail Ballast regulator taken by Stuart Dix and were taken of a unit belonging to ATN Tasrail while stored at the Tasmanian Transport Museum, December 2003
Ballast regulator TR-1 was built by Fairmont Tamper to design BE-TR in the late 1990s, and is builders number 1796035. Tasrail have at least two units to this design. For ballasting work, these units have a raiseable front plough, two fully adjustable side ploughs and a rear mounted rotating broom.
